This year has seen several exciting broadcasts of Robert’s work. First there was Mob of Meerkats from the piece Mammals of Southern Africa
on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune programme in June. Following this, the first three movements of the same piano trio were played on a special edition of Radio Winchcombe’s programme Impromptu
in August and Inyoka Etshanini was broadcast on the pilot episode of a new Resonance FM show, Beethoven Was Wrong in November.
All of the pieces and more are available on Tracing Lines, Robert’s portrait CD.
Retorica perform my piece, ’Orange’, alongside works by Gabriel Prokofiev at Amnesty International UK, in an event for Pussy Riot.

Robert’s Mzantsi Nights - recently premiered by the New Juilliard Ensemble in New York - has been selected by the New Music South Africa panel for submission to the ISCM World New Music Days 2015.
I will be teaching and giving a seminar presentation on my music at Birmingham Conservatoire on Tuesday, 28 October 2014.
