Consortium5 give second performance of Fokkens commission in London

Consortium5 present the second performance of Robert’s commission in a Pentecost service at St George’s Church, Bloomsbury.

Formed in 2005, the ensemble perform a considerable range of Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and Contemporary music on a wide variety of instruments, and released their first album on the Nonclassical label in 2011 to great acclaim.

Dynamic recorder quintet Consortium5 present the world premiere of a new commission by Robert Fokkens for recorder quintet and two voices.

The quintet will be performed at the Consortium5 concert for the London Festival of Contemporary Church Music at St George’s Church, Bloomsbury.
