ImVubu in Pietermaritzburg

The Fidelio Trio continue their South African tour with a performance in Pietermaritzburg which includes Robert’s first work for the trio, ImVubu. The concert also includes music by Mozart, Darius Brubeck and Liszt.

Fidelio Trio performs new commission in Durban

The Fidelio Trio (Darragh Morgan - violin, Robin Michael - cello, Mary Dullea - piano) present a new work commissioned for them by the SAMRO Endowment for the National Arts at the University of Kwazulu-Natal’s Howard College. The concert also includes music by Kevin Volans, Michael Blake, Donnacha Dennehy and Linda Buckley.

Ensemble Amorpha at Nonclassical

My piece, Amorphic Counsel, is to be premiered at this event:

On the 7th of September 2011, excellent new contemporary group Ensemble Amorpha will be presenting an evening of high energy contemporary music for a combination of Percussion, Clarinet, Oboe and Cello at the Nonclassical club night at the Troy Bar in Shoreditch.

They will play three sets interspersed with DJ-ing from Nonclassical founders Gabriel Prokofiev and Richard Lannoy. The music will include works by a range of composers from Stravinsky, Lachenmann, Kitazume, Lannoy and Styles to new commissions from Aaron Holloway-Nahum and Robert Fokkens.
